Welcome to Advanced Dental Arts NYC

New Patients

Welcome to ADA

Welcome to Advanced Dental Arts! At your first appointment, our doctor will complete a comprehensive oral examination, including an oral cancer exam, periodontal screening, and any necessary x-rays. Following the exam, the dentist will discuss their findings with you and, if necessary, develop a treatment plan you are comfortable with. For our healthy patients, we can also arrange to have your teeth cleaned at the same visit.

To help expedite the new patient check-in process, please print and complete the new patient registration forms prior to your initial visit.

How do I know if I have gum disease? The following symptoms often indicate that gum disease is present:

  • Bad breath that won’t go away
  • Red, swollen, or bleeding gums
  • Heavy tartar buildup
  • Loose or sensitive teeth

Do I need a root canal? Signs of infection severe enough to require a root canal include:

  • Severe tooth pain
  • Large fractures or cavities in the teeth
  • Pain and sensitivity to heat
  • A small, pimple-like bump on gums or near area of pain

Am I a candidate for Invisalign? Patients with healthy teeth and gums are usually the best candidates for Invisalign. Our board-certified orthodontist will assess your bite to determine if Invisalign is appropriate.

Do you see emergency patients? If you feel that you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us right away. We can work you into our schedule, or have someone return your call if it is after hours.

Is there a pediatric dentist in your office? Yes, Dr. Sibiya Amanat is a New York City, board-certified pediatric dentist who sees all of our young patients right here in our office.

What is LANAP? Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure, or LANAP, is a non-invasive therapy used for the treatment of periodontitis. This procedure is performed in conjunction with deep cleaning, to destroy the bacteria that cause gum infections.

Fill out the form and we will contact you during our working hours. Urgent dental care will be provided usually the same day.
